Performance benchmark

Spawns batches of glass elements per engine, animates them over a live backdrop, and measures real frame performance. Run it in Chrome, Safari and Firefox — results accumulate per browser so you can compare. This is how you'll know the true cost of each mode before shipping.

WebGL uses one canvas + GL context per element; browsers cap active contexts (~8–16), so high WebGL counts measure mostly the CSS fallback — that limit is itself a finding.
